New OJS installs, version upgrades, and moves from OJS 2, WordPress or a folder of loose PDFs — without breaking existing URLs or losing back issues.

Theme & front end

Child themes built on the PKP defaults: journal identity, issue covers, article landing pages, readable typography, and the responsive fixes nobody budgets for.

DOI & Crossref

Prefix setup, deposit configuration, retrospective registration of the whole back catalogue, reference and funding metadata, and untangling deposits that quietly failed months ago.

JATS XML & galleys

Full-text XML produced from Word or InDesign, plus HTML galleys that read properly on a phone and give indexers something better than a flat page image.

Indexing & compliance

DOAJ applications and the metadata clean-up they require, OAI-PMH, PKP Preservation Network, ORCID, licensing, and the policy pages reviewers check first.

Security & hardening

OJS is a PHP application with a database and a public upload path, and it gets treated as one: patching to the current point release, TLS, tightened file permissions, spam and bot mitigation on open registration, backups somebody has actually tried restoring — and clean-up if it's already been got at.

Server setup, backups, scheduled upgrades, plugin conflicts, and answering the email that begins "the site seems to be down".

Gender Differences in Communication Styles Among University Students: An Analytical Study

Abstract · abridged A cross-sectional survey of 260 university students compared four communication styles. Women scored higher on emotional expressiveness, men on the analytical and passive styles, with no significant gap in assertiveness. Together the analytical and emotional styles accounted for roughly 42% of the variance in a logistic model.
